We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Specialist.
Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Route materials to prescribed storage locations.
Store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearrange and take inventory of stored materials.
Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage.
Remove material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Driving power trucks will not be the primary duty.
Perform other qualified duties as required.
HAZMAT experience preferred.
Knowledge of the operation of hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Outlook, and Word to transcribe information into a clear and understandable format.
Knowledge of logistics/supply procedures.
High level of work/personal organizational skills. Knowledge or experience in the handling and management of Government Property strongly desired.
Two (2) or more years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
Maintain effective working relationships with other people.
Must be able to obtain base access.
Must be a US citizen.
High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Must complete or able to complete HAZWOPPER training within 30 days of hire date.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, snow, and sleet.
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
