100Provide Indigenous knowledge based guidance to students. Provide cultural-based support, advice and assistance for Faculty, Staff and Student groups and relevant committees toward ensuring student personal and academic success. Collaborate with faculty on Indigenous knowledge research. Guest lecture and present on topics of Indigenous knowledge. As needed or requested, instruct 1-3 credit course related to Indigenous knowledge sharing.Essential

The Elder Professor will provide guidance based on Indigenous knowledge with a significant focus on supporting student wellness, cultural knowledge sharing, and student success. This position will provide guidance, personal consultation, and support in advancing the academic study, research, and application of Indigenous knowledge. This position will work collaboratively to share knowledge and provide mentorship on aspects of Indigenous knowledge, history, and culture.
